Assignment

Italia is one of the oldest ice cream brands in Rio de Janeiro, they were born in iconic Ipanema beach and carries that nostalgia from the 80’s when beach culture in Rio was at it’s peak. For the re-design of their logotype we chose a classy type treatment that would evoke quality while adding a small palm beach for association with Ipanema.

For their brand pattern we designed small watercolour elements that remembers tropical Rio. While their ice cream bars packaging received each one a special design pattern that remembers vintage beachwear shirts.
